Make bundling easier by using relative imports internally and adding
license and copyright notice to source files.
Make error messages more uniform
Raise a friendly TypeError for wrong file mode
Allow parse_float to return objects having the append attr
Eagerly raise an error if parse_float returns an illegal type
Packaging
Move from pytest testing framework to unittest and remove python-dateutil
test dependency. Tests now only require Python interpreter.

What is IPFire?
IPFire is a hardened, versatile, state-of-the-art Open Source firewall based on Linux. Its ease of use, high performance in any scenario and extensibility make it usable for everyone. For a full list of features have a look here.
This repository contains the source code of IPFire 2.x which is used to build the whole distribution from scratch, since IPFire is not based on any other distribution.
