We use features only available in bash. So we should state correctly that the script should be executed in bash. As sh is a symlink to bash this makes not differences on a ipfire system. What is IPFire?

This repository contains the source code of IPFire 2.x which is used to build the whole distribution from scratch, since IPFire is not based on any other distribution.
